MND: The Philippine Side Should Stop Ganging up With Others to Stir up Troubles in the South China Sea

記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，菲軍方稱，菲印兩國(guó)海軍在黃巖島附近開(kāi)展海上聯(lián)合演習(xí)，旨在提升兩軍互操作性，并在菲與中國(guó)的斗爭(zhēng)中展現(xiàn)對(duì)菲支持。請(qǐng)問(wèn)發(fā)言人有何評(píng)論？
Question: The Philippine armed forces reportedly said that the Philippine-Indian joint naval exercise conducted near Huangyan Dao was designed to enhance the interoperability of the two militaries and to demonstrate support for the Philippines in its skirmishes with China. What ’ s your comment?
蔣斌：我們一貫反對(duì)以南海問(wèn)題為借口挑動(dòng)對(duì)抗，一貫主張有關(guān)國(guó)家軍事合作不應(yīng)針對(duì)第三方，不應(yīng)危害地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定。菲方四處逢迎，拉攏貼靠域外勢(shì)力虛張聲勢(shì)，妄圖攪亂地區(qū)局勢(shì)趁機(jī)漁利，完全背離地區(qū)國(guó)家求和平、謀發(fā)展、促穩(wěn)定的共同愿望。我們要求菲方停止挑釁炒作，停止在南海拉幫結(jié)派、興風(fēng)作浪，回到通過(guò)對(duì)話協(xié)商管控分歧的正確軌道上來(lái)。
Jiang Bin: We oppose using the South China Sea issue as a pretext to provoke confrontation, and believe that military cooperation between relevant countries should not target any third party or undermine regional peace and stability. The Philippine side, however, actively courts external forces to make bluffs, in an attempt to destabilize the region for its own gain. Such actions completely contradict the shared aspirations of regional countries for peace, development and stability. We require the Philippine side to stop its provocations and propaganda, stop ganging up with others to stir up troubles in the South China Sea, and return to the right track of resolving differences through dialogue and consultation.
